Modernism Museum Mount Dora
A Fine Art Museum in Downtown Mount Dora. Re-opening Oct. 3rd, the newest exhibit, “esherick to NAKASHIMA,” will focus on the Studio Arts movement and how both Wharton Esherick and George Nakashima used wood to tell a story. (This exhibit also includes an assortment of works by Wendell Castel.) Future “esherick to…” exhibits will offer a selection of exciting and interesting pieces that further demonstrate the DNA of Modernism, featuring artists such as Sam Maloof, Arthur Espenet Carpenter, Albert Paley, and more.
