A Ren Fest featuring live birds of prey and falconry flight demonstrations.
The Society for Creative Anachronism partners with ARC at this event to recreate 17th century arts and skills such as fabric making, sword fighting and archery. Live Renaissance Music from a youth string quartet. Kids’ medieval games and 3D Peregrine Falcon make-and-take craft project.
We take this opportunity to showcase the history of falconry and the explain the important role of falconry in people’s daily lives during the Middle Ages. We share how we continue to use falconry techniques to help rehabilitate and train raptors today.

Free admission and parking, but we gratefully accept donations to care for our resident birds of prey and fund our rehabilitation and conservation efforts.
