Osceola Arts- Art in Public Places presents artist Edmundo Lopez at West Osceola Branch Library in Celebration.
Osceola Arts – Art in Public Places presents local artist Edmundo Lopez. Lopez emigrated from The Dominican Republic to New York City in 1986. He obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree from Lehman College and was an art professor at Boricua College in NYC for many years. He now lives in Kissimmee where he continues to teach and create art. Lopez is a multidisciplinary artist who is inspired by current social issues of identity, immigration, spirituality, and the natural world. His most recent sculptures, paintings, and unique prints have been displayed in museums, art galleries, and public spaces throughout Central Florida. Recent paintings and sculptures by Edmundo Lopez will be on display at West Osceola Library on August 3 through October 31. For more information contact marilyn@osceolarts.org.
