Anansi the Spider is a rogue, a mischief maker, and a wise, lovable storyteller from West Africa. Join Anansi on his journey through three tales: Anansi and the Talking Melon, Anansi and the Sky God’s Stories, and Anansi and the Moss Covered Rock.
Auditions for specific roles happen on the first day of class.
Youth Academy Performance Workshops are an opportunity for students to study, rehearse, and perform! With a focus on the performer, without costumes or scenery, each actor works in character development, rehearsal etiquette, and the actor’s process. These fun and challenging productions allow you to make friends, become more confident performers, and learn more about theatre!
