Explorations in Science, Art, Dance & Theatre

Join Orlando Science Center, Orlando Shakespeare Theater, Orlando Museum of Art, Orlando Ballet and Orlando Fringe as they partner together for a full week of STEAM experience, spending a full day at each venue! During each day students will explore a different aspect of producing a stage production.  The Orlando Science Center will reveal the science behind special effects and examine how artists push their minds and bodies to expressive heights.  At the Orlando Shakespeare Theater, students investigate story creation and scene writing. At Orlando Museum of Art, students explore character development and costume design, and create a diorama of a stage production. At Orlando Ballet School students explore not only ballet but other forms of dance including jazz, character and musical theatre. Spend a day with Orlando Fringe to create and sample a variety of art mediums, including movement, theatre, costuming and visual arts. Camp is open to rising 3rd through rising 5th grade students.
