Dance Camp for Children, Youth, and Adults with Varying Needs and Disabilities

Chance 2 Dance will be hosting summer dance camps for children youth and adults with disabilities in an inclusive environment. We will have 4 different themed camps throughout the summer for different age groups.

Chance 2 Dance Summer Camps 2018:

We have 4 summer camps, split up by age. This is a dance/functional movement camp put on by professional dancers with a bachelor’s degree in dance and are also ‘Inclusion and Special Needs’ certified. Camps are planned according to an age range, however due to the cognitive and physical delays of our population, participants may be of different ages that are not their chronological age.

Camps will consist of daily themed activities, stretches, skills, snacks, performance and choreography preparation. We will also have arts and crafts where our participants make their costumes for the performance which will be on the last week of camp.

‘Elementary Camp’ (Ages 5-8) Wednesdays 9AM- 3PM
Camp Dates: June 13, 20, 28, July 11, 18, 25, Aug. 1
‘Disney Best Friends’ Themed Camp
Description: Dancing through summer with our best friends will be the best! Join us as we learn about creating friendships through movement with Lilo & Stich, Buzz & Woody, Nala &

‘Kids Camp’ (Ages 9-13) Tuesdays 9AM- 3PM
Camp Dates: June 12, 19, 27, July 10, 17, 24, 31
‘Animal Planet’ Themed Camp
Description: We can’t promise there won’t be any horseplay or monkeying around happening this summer at kids camp, But we can promise this will be a great camp for your little animals to get swinging, leaping… and crawling.

‘Junior Camp’ (Ages 14-22) Mondays 9AM- 3PM
Camp Dates: June 11, 18, 26, July 9, 16, 23, 30
‘Around the World’ Themed Camp
Description: We invite our young adults to dance with us through summer learning folk dances and the arts culture of Italy, Mexico, China, Hawaii, Ireland, Antarctica, and Spain!

‘Adult Camp’ (Ages 22+) Thursdays 9AM- 3PM
Camp Dates: June 14, 21, 29, July 12, 19, 26, Aug. 2
‘Time Travel’ Themed Camp
Description: Let’s get groovy or maybe medieval this summer with our adult dancers! We are going to dance through some awesome eras of history, the Roaring 20s, Ancient Egypt, and the Wild West made some legendary moves in the past, let’s show em off in the present!

Chance 2 Dance Summer Dance Camp Cost:

Early Bird Rate (Register before June 1): $349.00

Camp Rate after (Register after June 1): $399.00

Camp is from 9AM- 3PM for 7 weeks = 42 hours
